When in Spain, make sure you travel to Toledo and make your way to Asador Adolfo, One of Toledo’s classic restaurants. “Asar” is the Spanish word for “roast” and asadores are restaurants specializing in roasted (or grilled) meat. Asador Adolfo is much more than that. The owner of this restaurant, Adolfo Muñoz, is quite a local personality and makes regular appearances on regional television. His restaurant offers customers imaginative dishes based on local ingredients and his wine list is regarded by experts as one of the best in Spain. Definitely worth a visit. The set menu costs around 40 euros.
